Our Story
Patriot Classic 4x4 was founded in 2020 by lifelong Ford enthusiasts Rich and Michele Smith. Rich grew up learning traditional bodywork, fit, and finish from his father — an education that instilled a deep respect for craftsmanship, problem-solving, and doing things the right way.
With more than 50 years of experience building and modernizing classic vehicles, Rich now focuses that knowledge on one platform he knows well: the classic Ford Bronco.

Functional Design
Rich’s strength lies in his ability to address practical needs in design. For him, the focus isn’t simply on aesthetics but also on ensuring usability and practicality in every vehicle part they create. Rich takes the original designs and thoughtfully updates them to enhance the fit, finish, and performance of the classic Bronco, modernizing parts to meet today’s standards without sacrificing the timeless appeal of the original vehicle

Purpose-Driven Design
Rich’s parts are not trend-driven or cosmetic add-ons. They’re functional upgrades engineered to solve real problems builders face — from fitment and durability to performance and long-term reliability.
Each component is thoughtfully refined to:
- Improve fit and installation
- Integrate seamlessly with other systems
- Maintain the classic Bronco’s character
- Support modern drivability and performance
The result is parts that feel like they belong on the truck — because they were designed by someone who actually builds them.

For Enthusiasts and Builders
Whether you’re a professional shop or a home-garage enthusiast, Patriot Classic 4x4 exists to support your build. Rich believes that great parts should come with real knowledge behind them, and he’s known for sharing hands-on technical insight to help customers get things right the first time.
This builder-first mindset is why Patriot products are trusted by those who care deeply about how their Broncos are engineered — not just how they look.

Our Philosophy
Classic Broncos deserve more than bolt-on compromises. Patriot Classic 4x4 is committed to preserving what makes these trucks iconic while upgrading them for modern roads, modern power, and modern expectations.
Modern designs for your classic Bronco isn’t a slogan — it’s the standard every part is built to meet.
